I found this
set of instruction over at
Tandy Leather Factory. Its FREE so get it and make one too! I will be making some modifications to it the instructions. I will notate the changes I make.
Currently I am in the process of getting the tools and materials I will need together. Here is the list of materials needed, as per the PDF.
Materials Needed:
(Red indicates stuff I will need to get.)• 1 ea. 6-7 oz. tooling leather, appr. 25" dia.

1 ea. 4-5 oz. tooling leather, appr. 25" dia. (Will go with Hair On Cowhide or Rabbit fur)• 2 ea. 6-7 oz. leather strips, 2" x 15"

1 ea. 3/4" plywood, 24" in dia. (May go with 1/2 plywood)•
4 ea. 1-1/2", 1/4 x 20 carriage bolts•

Tandy Satin Shene #22009Since I'm kind of short on cash at the moment. I will be buying the stuff I need, when I need it. For the most part I can get started with the tooling of the design. That will be the next post.
